Marlière & Gerstlauer Executive Search was established by its two founding partners, Jean-François Marlière and Matthias Gerstlauer, and has offices in Luxembourg and Hamburg. The firm specializes in executive placements for the financial services, general and corporate services industries.
Marlière has over 17 years of executive recruitment experience. Jean-François is a former partner at Korn/Ferry International. In 1997, he joined Korn/Ferry International in Brussels and worked in technology markets. He later joined Korn/Ferry International’s office in Luxembourg and transitioned into the financial services sector.
Gerstlauer, a former partner at AIMS International's Luxembourg office, has extensive experience in high-level searches for corporate services and general management.
"We are really happy to be given the opportunity to join IIC Partners to work with seasoned professionals. Utilizing our knowledge and exchanging best practices is the best way to be able to provide the best services to our clients worldwide," Marlière said.
"Four years after the creation of our Luxembourg practice and one year after our installation in Hamburg, joining IIC Partners seemed to be the next natural step in pursuing international development. In a global market in constant evolution, the capacity of a global reach is an essential asset for every Partner in the network and we’re glad to be an active part of it," Gerstlauer commented.
IIC Partners vice chair of Europe, Ruth Curran, said, "On behalf of IIC Partners, I am delighted to welcome a high-quality retained search firm such as Marlière & Gerstlauer Executive Search to this fantastic global organization. I am confident that the relationship will be a great one, and that it will be mutually beneficial for all.”
