Oasis HR does the Movember Awards
The company has also extended an invite to all its candidates and clients to send in pictures of their Movember moustaches and have promised to donate £5 to the Movember charities for each picture they receive. They will also be hosting their own Movember awards, with the winner of & lsquo;best tash’ getting a fully paid cut throat shave at the renowned barber shop Ruffians in Covent Garden.
Movember is an organisation dedicated to promoting and raising money for charities associated with mens’ health. The charities supported by Movember fund research and progress in the treatment and cure of illnesses including prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health programmes. A full list of these charities can be seen here: http://uk.movember.com/programs.
Oasis HR’s Managing Director and co-founder, Mark Barnicoat, has joined forces with some friends to raise money for the great cause and they have already managed to raise just under £1000. To donate please visit: https://www.justgiving.com/HarpendenWolfPack/. Individuals looking to enter the Movember Awards need to simply send their pictures to Oasis HR via one of the channels below. For every picture received, Oasis HR will be pledging £5 directly to the Movember charities.

Mark Barnicoat, managing director of Oasis HR, commented, “Movember, whilst providing some laughs at the range of great to weedy moustaches we see walking around, is paramount in raising awareness and funding for mens’ health. This is something that is particularly close to my heart and I am extremely proud to say that Oasis HR will be contributing in as many ways as we can this year. So please all get growing and donating and lets help with research into treatment and potential cures for these diseases. Don’t forget to follow me on my tash journey via our social media pages - feel free to comment with your best moustache jokes, although the team at Oasis seem to have covered most of them (and the month isn’t even half way through yet!).’
