60,000 raised at APSCo Out of Africa Charity Ball 2014

The ball, generously sponsored by First Choice Software, was attended by 450 guests.

Recruitment industry professionals got together and raised over &pound60,000 For ChildLine which will go a long way to support the charity’s activities. The amount is enough to pay for well over 15,000 calls for help from the most vulnerable children.

Every APSCo Charity Ball has a theme and this year it was & lsquo;Out of Africa’. Guests were transported to a wild evening of inspired five star cuisine, giraffes, lions, zebras, some monkey business and a live auction. A variety of entertainments followed dinner including a live band, karaoke room, casino, lucky dips and more.  

APSCo’s guest of honour was ChildLine founder Esther Rantzen CBE, who commented the event contributed to “saving lives”.

Ann Swain, CEO, APSCo commented, “Every year it is wonderful to see the professional recruitment industry come together and raise money for our nominated charity ChildLine. It was a night to remember and the money will go a long way to help children across the nation.”

Broadbean technology sponsored the annual Champagne Diamond Draw where the lucky winner won a diamond encrusted Tiffany & Co necklace. The very lucky winner was Kate Lynch from APSCo member Talent Hawk.
