Boss Group appoints group operations manager
Irvine has been with Boss Project, which comprises of two specialist sub-contractors – Boss Projects LLP and Sprite Technical Services UK LLP, since the very beginning and has worked for the company for 8 years. In her new role she will be responsible for improving the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the company’s mission.
& lsquo;’ I joined Boss Projects 8 years ago as an Expenses Administrator and as the years went on I gained an in depth understanding of the business building up to the role of Payroll Manager which I did for 4 years. I went on maternity leave in March this year and am now returning to work to take over as the Operations Manager ’’, said Carmen.
She added, & lsquo;’our acquisition of the Sprite Group of Companies further increased the need for an Operations Manager to look after day to day operations. My role as the Payroll Manager allowed me to develop good relationships within the business and with our clients which sits perfectly for the requirements of my new role. I’m thankful to the Board for instilling their faith in me and I will perform this role to the best of my abilities. & lsquo;’
Lorraine Crinson, Managing Director of Sprite (part of the Boss Group) spoke of the appointment, & lsquo;’ After the legislation changes earlier this year, the onus is on industry leaders like us to deliver compliant services and to make sure that clients and operatives always receive first class service levels . Although we have specialised departments such as Compliance, Payroll, Customer Services, IT, Sales & Marketing etc., we identified the need for an Operations Manager to look after the business on a day to day basis.
Carmen’s role is to provide clearer management reporting, information flow and planning, business processes, and to be the focal point for all things operational. We are always finding ways to improve our processes and services - to our clients and operatives and this appointment will keep us on the right track. The Board would like to welcome Carmen to the Group and we wish her all the best in her new role
