Day Webster ranked 3rd in Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100
Ranked third, Day Webster fended off tough competition to be the top healthcare recruitment agency listed and the only recruitment firm to make the top ten in the 18th annual survey which was published on Monday 8th December.
This is the first time Day Webster has achieved a place in the Fast Track 100. Its success is a result of securing places on several healthcare framework agreements this year, a same day payment service which attracts the best staff and the acquisition of Care Providers in 2011 which helped to push sales to £28.9m in 2014.
The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain's 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their last three years. Companies must average three year sales growth between 50% and 270% per annum and have sales between £5m and £100m.
The judges described the awards as being & lsquo;like David’s battle against Goliath’. Companies listed & lsquo;have not only thrived during lean times, but may have grown by squaring up to big, well-financed rivals’.
The company’s joint CEO and Founders, Hugh Wood Ballard and Daniel Wise said: “This is a huge achievement for us as a relatively new business of only five years old. Taking 3rd place in the Fast Track 100 is testament to our successful growth strategy, client service, and committed employees, who have all worked exceptionally hard to make the company the flourishing business it is today.”
Day Webster was set up in 2009 by Hugh Wood Ballard and Daniel Wise and has achieved fast and significant growth in the buoyant healthcare recruitment sector. The company is on track to achieve 100% growth and turnover of £55 million - £60 million this year, and this follows a record year in 2013/14 of 300% growth where turnover reached almost £29 million.
The company has forged strong partnerships with many clients ,including several leading NHS healthcare trusts in London who rely on the Day Webster Group to provide high quality, trained healthcare staff to meet all their resourcing needs – 24 hours a day.
From its early beginnings when it was run solely by the founders, Day Webster now employs over 150 staff offering round the clock recruitment of theatre & ITU staff and A&E, maternity and general nursing staff for leading NHS Trusts.
In 2012, Day Webster became a contracted NHS supplier and in May 2014, a tier one supplier for NHS trusts across London.
Day Webster has expanded its services from recruiting nursing staff to also include allied health professionals, such as physiotherapists and speech & language therapists, and health science services staff such as biomedical scientists and sterile services staff and has plans to provide doctors and non-medical/non-clinical staff as well.
