HCIG appoints non-executive chairman
Lloyd, a petrochemical engineer by training, founded NES Global Talent in 1978, one of the world’s leading providers of specialist engineers to the oil & gas sector.
Since 1998, NES has completed several private equity transactions, including with Graphite as its institutional investor between 2006 and 2012. Lloyd was Chairman under Graphite’s ownership, during which time the EBITDA increased more than three fold. The company was sold to AEA Investors for £234 million in October 2012.
Lloyd continues to be a consultant to NES, which now has annual revenues of over $1 billion. Since 2010, Geoff has also served as a non-executive director of Huntress, a provider of professional staff within office support, IT and accountancy & finance.
Tim Cook, HCIG's CEO commented, “I am delighted to welcome Geoff to HCIG. His wealth of experience in both technical recruiting and working with private equity backed companies will assist the board greatly as HCIG moves into its next stage of development.”
Mike Tilbury, senior partner at Graphite added, “Geoff did a great job as Chairman of NES and we are looking forward to working with him again.”
The board has recently completed the management buy-out of Human Capital Investment Group (HCIG), supported by Graphite Capital.
