Meridian to sustain profitable growth through senior appointment
Altrincham-based recruitment specialist Meridian has seen over 60 per cent growth in permanent placements in 2014 and is pursuing ambitious financial goals following the launch of its Vision 20/20 strategy last year. Currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, the company is now aiming to build on increased profits and a record financial year through the new appointment.
Ashworth joins Meridian with extensive experience in the recruitment industry, having previously headed up Manpower’s UK staffing sales team, as well as holding various management roles within the Group.

Her wealth of experience and track record of building key business relationships will help us drive forward in realising our ambitious long-term financial goals.”
On her new role, Ashworth says, “I’m delighted to be joining Meridian at such an exciting time for the company. Our challenge now is to build on our already impressive performance and for me it’s a fantastic opportunity to play a leading role in inspiring the team to achieve this.”
Meridian is one of the largest privately owned recruitment specialists in the UK, with 67 branch operations and turnover of more than £120 million. The firm recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and has been awarded accreditation by Best Companies for providing a great place to work.
