With a successful career spanning more than 25 years, Gilliam previously worked as operating partner at AEA Investors LP, which bought NES Global Talent in 2012. Prior to that he was CEO of Adecco Group North America and has previously held senior management roles at IBM, PwC and Price Waterhouse. Tig has been Interim CEO of NES Global Talent since May 2014.
NES Global Talent, which has a global network of more than 40 offices across 28 countries, has achieved record growth and profits again in its fiscal year ended 31st October 2014. Axel Holtrup, partner of AEA Investors LP, said: “Whilst we at AEA are sad to lose Tig as a partner of the firm, we are extremely happy to have someone of his calibre and track record join the NES Global Talent team. This is an exceptional company and we firmly believe that under the leadership of Tig and the rest of the senior management, it can consolidate and build on its market leading franchise.”
Gilliam will focus on continuing to drive the company’s growth, organically and through acquisitions, with the goal of becoming the top human capital solutions provider in the energy sector worldwide and further improving the service it provides to clients, contractors and candidates. NES Global Talent will also focus on growing its global footprint and extending its range of contract, permanent placement and managed solutions services into new disciplines and sectors.
“Having had the opportunity to work with the NES Global Talent team in an interim capacity, I am very pleased to now be able to join the company fulltime,” he said. “The acute and growing skills shortage in many engineering and technical disciplines drives strong demand for our services. The NES global mobility platform offers a tailored, efficient and cost-effective solution to our client’s most challenging human capital needs. Our industry leading solutions give clients access to the best talent in the worldwide market, whether they are looking for a contract or permanent hire or a complete managed services solution.
