New directors appointed to the board of Cranberry Panda

The decision to strengthen the board was taken following a period of exceptionally strong growth and will enable Cranberry Panda to deliver its long term plan and maximise its performance. Cranberry Panda believes Friedlein and Evans to be the most dynamic candidates in their fields who will offer unrivalled support and guidance to propel the business to the next level.

Jonathan Hall and Joe Mountain, founders of Cranberry Panda said, “Our vision for Cranberry Panda is to create the most admired and outstanding specialist ecommerce recruitment business in the world. The key to delivering this vision is having an exceptional team and we are therefore delighted to welcome to the board Ashley and Louie as two of the most respected and successful people in ecommerce and recruitment. Both have joined cranberry panda as passionate investors and directors and we are hugely excited to have them play a part in our next stage of accelerated growth.”

Friedlein added, “Cranberry Panda is a specialist ecommerce recruitment consultancy. I invested in the business because of the quality of the team, the great niche they operate in, and the award-winning quality of their work. The managing partners have been at the heart of the ecommerce industry since 1999 having founded and run ecommerce specialist service provider eibDIGITAL, online retailer and sector research leaders Econsultancy, which I founded.”

Evans concluded, “I am excited and delighted to be joining Cranberry Panda at this early stage in their development. Once I had met the founders Joe and Jonathan and heard their vision and experience it was obvious that we followed the same beliefs about what an outstanding recruitment company should look like for all stakeholders. With the founders' in depth, market leading, ecommerce knowledge and the experience I have in sales and recruitment, becoming a dominant player in a niche market, I am sure that Cranberry Panda can do great things in the coming years.”
