TPP Recruitment announced as main sponsor for Third Sector Strategic People Conference

The conference is aimed at CEOs, HR and volunteer directors and managers and will focus on discussing and sharing new ideas about people management in the Third Sector, including the complexities of HR and Volunteering working together to effect change.

It will take place at the America Square Conference Centre in London.

As conference sponsor, TPP will present a short key note address at the start of the conference and will be exhibiting at stand 4 to meet conference delegates.

Keynote speakers Jean Tomlin OBE, Chief Executive of Tomlin & Co and previously Director of HR, Workforce and Accreditation, London 2012 Olympic Games, and Paul Farmer, Chief Executive of MIND will headline this year’s conference.

The keynote speeches entitled, & lsquo;Leading the People Function with Influence and Impact’ and & lsquo;Leading in Changing Times,’ will highlight some of the key issues and challenges in people management today, with Ms Tomlin and Mr Farmer sharing their insight and extensive experience.

Six interactive workshops, led by leaders from well-known Third Sector organisations, will look at the evolution of people strategies, incorporating employees and volunteers, engagement, developing leadership and driving performance and change.

There will also be a panel discussion called, & lsquo;Seizing the opportunity of the over 60s, How do we make the most of demographic change?’

Prices start from &pound157 plus VAT for members of AVM, CHRN, MHPF, NUS, PIA or VODG and &pound178.50 plus VAT - the standard rate. There is an early booking discount of 15% if booked by 14 February 2015, and additional delegates save an extra 15%.
