TTM Healthcare scoops two prestigious awards at National Recruitment Awards
Liam Ryan, a key member of TTM Healthcare’s UK Nursing Team, also took the title of & lsquo;Permanent Recruiter of the Year’.
Designed to identify and reward excellence in the sector, the NRF awards are a very prestigious event in the recruitment calendar. According to the Judging Panel, TTM Healthcare was selected due to their “understanding of its clients’ core values and excellence in candidate training.” TTM, they continued, “demonstrate true professionalism they know how important compliance is in this sector and all their consultants are aware of what is expected of them.”
A senior project manager in TTM’s International Division, Liam Ryan plays a vital role in the company’s large scale global recruitment projects. International recruitment has proven to be a highly successful solution for many public and private healthcare employers across the UK struggling with structural staff shortages.
Earlier this year, TTM Healthcare was awarded a place on the National Framework for the Supply of Nursing and Nursing Related Temporary Staff to the NHS, which includes international recruitment services. TTM is a major player in this sphere: one in every five overseas nurses taking up work with the NHS in 2013 was recruited through TTM. Constantly researching new sourcing countries on behalf of clients, at the time of the awards, Liam Ryan had just returned from the company’s first project to Manila in the Philippines. On foot of changes to the NMC process for non EU Nurses, TTM Healthcare has shifted the focus of their international projects beyond Europe into Asia with India and many other new countries targeted for 2015.
Commenting on TTM’s great double success CEO Brian Crowley remarked that “none of this would be possible without the hard work and focus of our team. We were delighted that two of our consultants were individually recognised by the NRF. We are very proud of Liam Ryan and of Charlene Cooke who beat off incredible opposition to be shortlisted for the title of Best Temporary Consultant, the second year in a row she has been a finalist in this category.”
Group Managing Director, Barry Pactor, added, “These awards round off a great year for the TTM Group. Just a few weeks ago we announced a multi-million pound investment in the business that will lead to the creation of 100 new jobs years and see TTM expand its office network beyond the UK, Ireland and Germany into the Middle East.”
