Boyden appoints US partner
He will be based in Boyden’s Pittsburgh office and be a key member of the firm’s Global Human Resources, Consumer & Retail and Healthcare & Life Science practices.

Mr. Esquivel has held a variety of leadership roles supporting various businesses and key initiatives. He has gained extensive organizational transformation and integration experience in 25 years in business and human resources. In addition, he brings impressive experience in developing global HR and talent acquisition programs in consumer, healthcare, technology and industrial companies.
Mr. Esquivel most recently served as Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources of Mylan, one of the world’s leading generic and specialty pharmaceutical companies. At Mylan, he set the strategy for the HR function to support business growth in a scalable and sustainable way.
Prior to joining Mylan, Mr. Esquivel spent more than 10 years in a variety of senior management roles in global and regional organizations, including several years as Vice President of Human Resources for the Electrical Sector in the Americas Region of Eaton Corporation Worldwide HR Senior Director for the Enterprise & Partner Group, WW Communications Sector and WW Public Sector for Microsoft Corporation HR Director for Asia Pacific Region for Microsoft Corporation, based in Singapore and HR Director for Latin America Region for Microsoft Corporation, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Earlier, he served in leadership and management roles for The Clorox Company and Procter & Gamble.

Mr. Esquivel holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical and electrical engineering and an MBA from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM). A native of Mexico, he is bilingual and multicultural.
