CDI Corp. appoints chief CFO
Robert M. Larney, Chief Financial Officer, will be leaving CDI to pursue other opportunities following the filing of the Company's SEC Form 10-K for 2014.
"Michael is an experienced financial and operating executive with the skills, integrity and commitment needed to build on CDI's strengths and maximize long-term value," said Scott J. Freidheim, Chief Executive Officer.
Castleman, currently EVP, Corporate Development and Operations has led CDI's enterprise analytics and performance optimization, as well as corporate development via partnerships, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining CDI, Castleman served as president of Kenmore Craftsman and Diehard brands at Sears Holdings Corporation. He initially joined Kenmore Craftsman and Diehard as chief financial officer, responsible for financial management and operational improvement performance. Previously, Castleman founded or co-founded several investment firms, including Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, where he served as managing director and co-head. He has served as a director or board advisor to multiple companies.
Castleman earned a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from theColumbia Business School.
