Corporate confidence in the future economy?

InterExec has more than three decades of experience in the Senior Executive recruitment market. Their latest figures gathered from across the recruitment industry continue to show unadvertised Senior Executive vacancies, as well as the level of interviews, are increasing year on year.

Corporations tend to recruit senior executives about a year ahead of planned expansion and despite a slight decline in the second half of 2014, the unadvertised vacancy market is still growing ahead of 2013. Specifically the number of interviews obtained for InterExec’s candidates has also risen throughout the year by 15.3%.

“New appointments taken up by InterExec clients are 35% up for 2014 and 67% up in the fourth quarter”, says Scott-Brown. “So something interesting is happening and there is a positive message from the corporate world that could be taken about future confidence and planned development.”

Corporate recruitment continues to reflect a more positive year on year view,”  Kit Scott-Brown, managing director of InterExec, has said.
