EarthStream goes from strength to strength in Japan
Having set up their Japan business in mid 2o13 , the firm delivered a substantial profit in 2014 , doubled head count and had former Prime Minister Naoto Kan speak at their 1st anniversary event so it wasn't a big surprise they recently won Recruitment Internationals award for Energy recruitment company of the year in Japan.
As 2015 kicks off Japan President Sean Travers commented “ The reception from candidates and clients has been extraordinary as there really was a need for a genuine specialist energy recruitment firm – our timing to enter the market in 2013 as the Renewables industry took off could not have been better”.
To solidify their ongoing commitment to the Japan market they are moving into a newly constructed 2 level office near Tokyo station on March 2 to accommodate the next phase of growth which includes the development of an energy demand division . This new division covers energy efficiency disciplines relating to Buildings , Manufacturing and the rapidly expanding Auto sector as it moves away from fossil fuels .
Add Travers “ This new division will give us a wider base to grow from and will ensure we are at the forefront of recruiting for the businesses that are driving the worlds transformation to a lower carbon future”
With Japan being a market with fewer people “on line”, the firm is rolling out a train advertising campaign and integrated candidate referal program and plans to double again in 2015.
