Federgon supports Construction Confederation to fight against unscrupulous companies

They often employ cheap labour and do not respect the same conditions as lawfully abiding companies.

In Belgium, only approved temporary agencies may take interim provision.

In its fight against fraud, Federgon collects information from the field about companies, often foreign, who are suspected of engaging in fraudulent practices, and relays this information to the competent inspection services.

"We see that there is now a lot of companies who provide staff without having the authorization required for temporary work. Working without a license is punishable not only, but it also has implications for agency concerned, "says Herwig Muyldermans, CEO of Federgon.

"So the interim entitled to the same pay as permanent employees of the company in which they are available, and they have among others the right to a bonus at year end. Workers who are employed by an unauthorized temporary employment agency can not claim to this and therefore are not protected,” Muyldermans stresses.

In this folder, Federgon holds again to stress how important it is to crack down on fraudulent practices of these companies and do everything to put them off quickly.
