Reed's Keith Rosser to head up APSCo audit committees
Rosser has a wealth of experience in the area of compliance having founded Reed Screening in 2011, now one of the UK’s largest pre-employment vetting businesses screening over 60,000 people per year.
He is also the Chair of SAFERjobs, a non-profit joint law enforcement and private sector organisation aimed at tackling employment fraud, and a board member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners.
Speaking about his appointment, Rosser commented, “I am looking forward to contributing to this great initiative to not only raising standards across the education and social work recruitment sectors, but also to improving the reputation of recruitment consultancies which broadly do a really good job. It will be good to show clients that the industry is doing something proactive to ensure that standards are at a consistently high level.”
Nick Bowles, head of Stakeholder Engagement at APSCo, said, “I’m delighted that Keith has accepted the position of Chair – it is important that we have an independent committee which can keep the quality standards fresh and up to date as well as being able to review and respond to any issues. His experience will be invaluable.”
