Sweden begins drive to reduce youth unemployment

The initiative includes a clear employer focus and intensive search to match young people with work. The target group is young people between 16 and 24 years.

In Sweden, it means a creative collaboration between, inter alia, Employment Services, Insurance Agency, IF Metall, Recruitment companies and representatives from the regions of the country with a youth unemployment rate of over 25%.

Through discussion, collaboration and innovation, the project aims to lower youth unemployment effectively and for the long term.
