CRG secures contract on National Collaborative Framework
The two-year framework agreement is collectively worth over £1.3 billion and is managed by the four NHS collaborative procurement hubs – the East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub, the North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative, NHS Commercial Solutions and NHS London Procurement Partnerships.
Working in conjunction with their NHS members, the collaborative hubs support NHS trusts in making the most of their purchasing powers to maximise investment in patient care. As an example, NHS London Procurement Partnership and its members has saved the NHS more than £650 million since its formation in 2006.
Laura Hale, Group Commercial and Implementation Director at CRG, said: “This is a significant contract win for CRG and we’re delighted to be working under the National Collaborative Framework to provide core health services to the public sector.
“This contract, together with CRG’s other recent wins with the Ministry of Defence and Oxfordshire County Council, further cements our credentials as one of the UK’s leading suppliers of health and social care professionals to both public and private sectors.”
CRG will work closely with the NHS trusts using the framework agreement to boost quality and performance, and meet the commercial and clinical needs of the NHS – supporting the trusts in fulfilling their requirements and driving maximum value savings for the authorities.
CRG is one of the fastest-growing national providers of healthcare services and medical staffing solutions in the UK, with an extensive portfolio of clients. It has become the preferred supplier to major public and private sector organisations, including the NHS and MoD, as well as over 21 local authorities.
With an annual turnover of £24 million in 2013/14, CRG is continuing to deliver innovative staffing solutions to the healthcare industry. The National Collaborative Framework for the Supply of Nursing and Nursing Related Staff is worth up to £5 million per annum for CRG.
CRG Doctors, CRG Healthcare and CRG Allied Health are part of the health service provider and recruitment group, which has 12 divisions and was established in 2000.
