Frontier International appoints group financial controller
The appointment can be attributed to growth activity on both a local and international level, with Bill bringing over 25 years’ financial services and industry experience to the role.
Latterly Global Operations Controller for energy services company Senergy, Bill has held a number of financial management roles within the oil and gas industry. A specialist in the set-up of international accounting functions, he is looking forward to playing an integral part in the company’s growth strategy: “I am delighted to be joining Frontier International at what is a real period of expansion, from both domestic and international perspectives.
“Having significant experience in international financial expansion, I understand the associated issues and look forward to utilising that knowledge to the benefit of the company and its clients.”
Bill’s appointment is a key strategic move for Frontier, as managing director Paul Radcliffe explains: “We are very pleased to welcome Bill to the team. As Frontier International continues to expand into new markets, at home and abroad, it is vital that we have that level of financial expertise on hand to ensure this expansion is as smooth and cost-effective as possible.
“His impressive skillset and relevant experience also means that, together with chairman Mark Clarke, I can now devote increased time to business development and client services improvement - safe in the knowledge that we have an in-house financial expert controlling the many and varied financial aspects of our business, not least our international subsidiaries.”
In business since 1999, Frontier International was established by oil industry engineers Mark Clarke and Paul Radcliffe in response to industry requirement for expertise-driven management of specialist well design and drilling engineering. Quickly identifying a gap in the market, they moved to grow Frontier in answer to the lack of technical expertise in the staff recruitment and contractor recruitment/management sectors.
As well as holding a substantial number of global contracts with the major operators, Frontier also works increasingly closely with the oil and gas service sector. International client demand in recent years has led the company to successfully expand in several key regions, with wholly owned subsidiaries covering India/Middle East, East Africa and the Caribbean.
