Sellick Partnership meets Midlands & South Yorkshire business demand
Nikki Graham, associate sirector of the Midlands team, said, “It is a great time for our team to be moving to this new office. Demand for our recruitment offering is at a peak and our headcount has doubled over the past 12 months in order to continue delivering the quality that our clients have come to expect.”
“Confidence has returned to the jobs market over the past 18 months, with a wealth of opportunities arising in both the commercial and public sector for finance, procurement and project management professionals, and whilst we remained busy with temporary roles during the recession, we’ve seen a 35% rise in permanent roles since the start of 2014.”
This trend is in line with the findings from Sellick Partnership’s Finance Salary and Market guide published last year, which anticipated a rise in financial roles across the Midlands. Whilst there is a strong pool of candidates, there is stiff competition for the best talent available, employers are now looking more closely at their salary and benefits package to ensure they remain competitive.
Established in 2005, the Midlands team are based in Stoke and Derby and have built strong relationships within the local business community, whilst also becoming market leaders within the public sector.
The team are now based in Donington House in Pride Park, a hub of business activity in the Derby area. The proximity to the train station is an added benefit for reaching out to the wider Midlands area, South Yorkshire, East Anglia and the rest of the South of England, where the business is growing.
“We are actively engaged in our local business communities we sponsor the Derby Telegraph Awards, organise an annual charity football tournament in Stoke and Derby, as well as providing our clients and candidates with the latest industry trends through our networking channels. As a business we always look for ways to go the extra mile and offer our contacts those extra benefits to ensure that the recruitment process is as smooth as possible”.
Sellick Partnership have forecast significant growth across all business streams for end of financial year and Spring 2015 will see the opening their seventh office in London, the first in the South of England.
