Sky's the limit for Randstad high fliers
Randstad’s highest flier was awarded the accolade at The Gherkin on 11th February 2015, in a prestigious ceremony celebrating the achievements and contributions of employees.
The overall winner of the peer-to-peer award scheme was determined by a blind vote among Randstad’s High Performance Panel – itself consisting of nominated high performers from each business line of the organisation.
During each quarter of 2014, High Performance awards were presented to one Randstad employee across every business line of the company, along with a £1,500 cash prize. From the 48 quarterly winners of 2014, one was awarded £5,000 to recognise their consistent performance over the year as whole.
The incentive and recognition scheme acknowledges the achievements of high-performing individuals who have contributed towards the overall performance of the business, and is fully inclusive of all employees across both sales and operations.
The awards are the brainchild of Randstad’s High Performance Panel, designed to highlight how individual employees can directly contribute and drive the success of the business.
Randstad’s global CEO, Jacques van den Broek, flew over to attend the ceremony and present the award, accompanied by the UK leadership team.
Mark Bull, CEO of Randstad UK, said, “At Randstad we practice what we preach, and as a key player in sourcing talent and providing HR solutions for other businesses, we know that the lifeblood of any organisation are its people. Individual employees can make huge contributions to the growth and direction of our business, and drive the success of the company. These awards are a great embodiment of the unique High Performance Culture that resonates through the corridors of Randstad, whereby our employees are motivated to be entrepreneurial and passionate about achieving results.
“Jobs in recruitment can be challenging and the High Performance Awards will celebrate the excellence of those individuals who have gone the extra mile to provide top quality service and achieve fantastic results. We place a lot of importance on recognising outstanding individual performance – particularly as more people are attracted to recruitment consultant jobs, and our organisation expands. As recruiters, we know and value the importance of individual talent better than anyone.”
