Capita appoints new sales director

With feedback from the industry highlighting the need for true innovation and added value that can be difficult to achieve against purely transactional recruitment models, Capita Resourcing has responded by appointing a sales director with a comprehensive understanding of designing and delivering recruitment solutions, allowing for an insightful approach to business relationships that results in tailored solutions that address specific resourcing challenges within an organisation.

Matkin joined the business in 2006, working in account development and account director positions. Her most recent role as client services director involved leadership responsibility for a portfolio of permanent and contingent workforce accounts including the successful contract win and implementation of a government contingent labour framework which now delivers to 70 organisations across the public sector. She is also a management board member of the Institute for Collaborative Working.

Matkin said about her appointment, “With my background in resourcing operations, I have a deep appreciation for the challenges all organisations are facing in attracting and retaining the best talent to set them apart from the competition. I am truly excited by the opportunity to help future customers achieve their resourcing goals through our solutions.

“Following a successful 2014 with a number of contract wins, our priority for 2015 will be to take both our proposition and wider services into new sectors and grow our market share whilst supporting growth within the existing Capita customer base.”

Capita Resourcing is the strategic resourcing business within Capita plc and its teams work across the UK commercial, regulated and government sectors - shaping individually tailored solutions in permanent and contingent workforce recruitment.

Matkin will be responsible for managing the sales team and extending and sustaining client relationships, with the aim of positioning Capita Resourcing as one of the UK’s leading workforce transformation providers.
