GCS opens in Dublin

The company, which also has offices in London and Reading, initially moved into Camden Row in 2013 but an impressive two years has led to the business outgrowing its initial space and moving to a bigger office within the same building.

"After growing the business from London, we relocated to Dublin with four staff" says GCS Business Manager Tim Dunne. "We've increased headcount to nine since then and our new office gives us the potential to add an additional ten consultants to the team.”

Headcount is not the only area of growth within the Irish office – jobs registered have increased 105% year-on-year and GCS has also recently launched financial services recruitment to help organisations with their risk, compliance and actuarial roles. However, it is the technology industry that has driven GCS’ growth in the last 12 months.

"The demand for technology professionals is showing no sign of slowing. With global technology business and tech start-ups located in Dublin, the war for talent is as competitive as I can ever remember it being in my nine years in recruitment” says Dunne. “The attraction and retention of skilled professionals is vital in ensuring business growth. Organisations that get this right in the coming year will be the ones that will enjoy success.”

GCS' impressive growth was recognised in 2014's HSBC Sunday Times International Track 200, where it was ranked as the 27th fastest growing international business. With the expansion of the Irish operation and other soon-to-be announced international growth, GCS looks forward to bringing its passion for quality recruitment to more countries than ever in 2015.
