New directors to drive forward Search success
Search – which provides specialist recruitment services across a diverse range of industry sectors –has made the directorial appointments in order to drive forward its specialist divisions and build on the success of 2014.
Grahame Caswell, Search Consultancy’s Chief Executive, said: “The recent round of directorial new hires and promotions is hugely positive for the company. We now have the ideal structure in place to ensure success in what is set to be a very busy year for Search.
Search England has welcomed Manchester-based Peter Preston, who joined the company as director and head of its professional services division. Peter made the move from technology consultancy firm Mobica, where he was a director of its finance, banking and payments operations.
The Manchester office – Search’s regional head office for the North West of England – also saw two existing team members scale the ranks.
Pamela Stokes is now director of call and contact centre and office services at Search, taking a step up from her role as associate director of both divisions. She heads up two teams, servicing markets across the region. Meanwhile, former senior divisional manager Natalie McCluskey has been appointed as associate director of the agency’s call centre business in the city.
In Liverpool, Richard Westhead has been promoted from associate director to director, overseeing the agency’s office services, logistics, call and contact centre, hospitality and catering divisions. He is now responsible for eight teams across Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds.
In Scotland, Colette Philp has been promoted from associate director to director of the professional services division, leading a team of 22 staff across the country from the consultancy’s Glasgow headquarters.
Shannon McKechnie, also based in Glasgow, been appointed as associate director of the specialist Office Services division in Scotland, leading a team of 14 based across four of the six Scottish offices.
Caswell, continued, “We are delighted to have Peter on the team and to recognise the efforts of all staff who have climbed the ladder and had their hard work pay off. They have each played a significant part in the development of their respective divisions and will continue to do so in their new roles.
“We’ve seen growth across the board and we now have the right people to lead our client campaigns throughout the year ahead.”
The directorial appointments have been made alongside a host of other promotions and new hires as the company rolls out its expansion plans for 2015.
