Run, ride and kayak against cancer with TeamJobs
TeamJobs, based in Poole, has space for two more teams of five to tackle the gruelling Purbeck Pursuit - an eight-mile cross country run, followed by a 15-mile mountain bike ride, a six-mile kayak, a six-mile treasure hunt and a fun relay race.
TeamJobs is sponsoring the event, which is raising money for the charity Sophie's Legacy, formed in honour of Sophie Drury, who died in April 2008, aged 34, following a 10-year battle with cancer.
TeamJobs Resource manager, Julian Knott, said, "Sophie's courage and love of competitive sport really inspired everyone at TeamJobs.
"Staff took part in the Sophie's Legacy event 'Bude Sweat and Tears' in 2013 and now we feel privileged to be sponsoring the Purbeck Pursuit, with all money raised going to Macmillan Cancer Supportand Prospect Hospice, where Sophie spent time before she died."
