The People Development Team appoints lead to launch insurance practice
The launch of the specific practice sees PDT build upon its global client base which spans the US, APAC, Europe and the UK, and investing in its growing insurance sector.
Lynch, previously Head of Relations and Communications for Xchanging, is an insurance market veteran with over 25 years’ experience working with clients in the global insurance market.
Angela Peacock, Chair, PDT, commented, “We are delighted that someone with Julie’s experience has joined us to launch our insurance practice. Building inclusive environments that recognise and address the issues of bias and diversity are at the heart of our business and we are already working with a number of insurance clients, currently rolling out a tailored Unconscious Bias programme to over 3000 employees globally with a leading insurance company."
Lynch's appointment addresses the growing demand we are seeing from this sector and will build upon our existing valued clients in the technology, finance and legal sectors. She will be partnering with insurance clients globally to support their leadership and talent strategies using PDT’s unique and award winning delivery.”
Lynch concluded, “Diversity and talent are issues in many parts of the Insurance Sector, and the industry is recognising the challenges ahead - however it’s not just about fixing the numbers. Creating an inclusive environment where every employee has the opportunity to succeed is an exciting prospect, and I look forward to working with our clients as they continue to address these dynamic challenges.”
