Day Webster launches Doctors division

Day Webster’s Doctors division has been set up in response to increased demand and pressure on NHS Trusts to find experienced locum and part time doctors at every level to staff wards 24 hours a day.

As a tier one supplier for London’s NHS trusts and a company listed on several NHS framework agreements, Day Webster is already working closely with a large number of Trusts to supply experienced nurses to staff wards day and night.

Day Webster Doctor’s division will mirror its nursing recruitment services by supplying high calibre doctors to NHS Trusts in London and the South East initially and in time, across the UK.

Hugh Woods Ballard, Managing Director, Day Webster said, “Over the past 18 months we’ve witnessed a surge in demand for experienced locum doctors to staff hospitals, and in particular busy A&E departments and surgical wards. We are delighted that we can now offer high calibre, experienced Doctors at every level and specialism to supplement teams in the NHS and ensure Trusts can deliver the very best patient experience.”

The new Doctors division is one in a series of recent initiatives from Day Webster. The company now offers a full range of medical professions including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, such as physiotherapists and speech & language therapists, and health science services staff such as biomedical scientists and sterile services staff, and has plans to expand its current commercial arm to provide non-medical/non-clinical staff in the future as well.

Day Webster is the third fastest growing private company in the UK, according to the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 list, published in December 2014.

The company’s success is a result of securing places on several healthcare framework agreements, its 24 hour a day support for clients and agency workers and a same day payment service which has helped to attract top quality medical professionals onto its books.
