Engage Partners strengthens board
Parkes arrives at Engage Partners after rising to prominence in digital recruitment and is recognised as a leading talent in Finance within the recruitment sector.
Having relocated to the UK in 2001 as a chartered accountant with KPMG, Parkes became finance director at media specialist Aspire, where he took a very operational approach to his role. He became a key player in Aspire's continuous growth, acquiring ICUR (Media recruitment), RP Cushing (Market Research recruitment) and Periscope (Design recruitment) in addition to extending the company's footprint into the Singapore and Hong Kong markets.

This appointment reflects the continuing upward trajectory of Engage Partners, which was named 'Recruitment Service Of The Year' at the annual Education Investor Awards and The Assignment Report's UK Education Industry Company of the Year. It was also ranked 51st in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 programme in 2014.
Engage Partners was established by recruitment experts Matthew Ellis and Robert Harvey in 2008 and consists of Engage Construction, Teaching Jobs London and Engage Education. Engage Education, led by managing director James Ockelford, has established itself as one of the UK's leading recruitment agencies, with it's innovative 'iday' concept proving an international success in recruiting teachers from overseas markets and integrating them into the UK education sector.
