National Locums appoints sales director
Hill, 33, joined National Locums six years ago, initially as a senior consultant, and latterly as business manager.
He has been a key driver of National Locums' sales performance - the company is on track for a £19.6m turnover in the current financial year - and has set a number of individual sales records for the company, including being the first consultant to make £1m gross profit on billings.
He has also been instrumental in devising market strategy, and building and leading sales teams.
Hill began his career in recruitment at the age of 18, and previously worked for agencies including Michael Page Recruitment and Badenoch & Clark.
National Locums managing director, David Cook, said, "Simon's appointment is part of our strategy to build a strong management structure which can most productively and efficiently manage our strong sales growth, and further improve service levels for our clients and candidates."
