New video recruitment platform launches
Cingo provides businesses with an easy-to-use real time and offline video interview platform, helping them slash the associated costs of recruitment including travel and venue hire.
The cloud-based platform proved a range of options which can be used to suit the position they are recruiting for.
Offline interviews allow recruiters and candidates to interact at the time and place of their choosing, with jobseekers recording their answers to an interview script. Real-time interviews can be set up for a single recruiter or panel. Cingo also allows recruiters to gain additional feedback on applicants’ suitability for the role, as recordings can easily be forwarded to other colleagues for review.
The platform has been created to meet the needs of different organisations, from in-house human resources departments to recruitment and outsourcing agencies. The option of both offline and real-time interviews can be used for different seniority levels, from hiring top executives to temporary seasonal staff. Cingo is free to use for jobseekers. They can upload video CVs and hone their interview techniques in the practice area, as well as connecting with hiring businesses.
Cingo director, Amir Kazmi, said, “Cingo has been designed to help turn a lengthy, tedious recruitment process into one that’s faster, more efficient and cheaper. It allows recruiters to interview candidates for all levels, anytime, anywhere, in a virtual environment. To access Cingo, you only need a laptop and microphone, so it’s the ideal solution for companies whose key decision-makers are often on the move.”
He added, “Cingo gives you a range of options which allow you to engage with candidates efficiently. The video platform allows you to question whether the interviewee has the right skillset for the role and, most importantly, see if they would be a good fit for your company.”
Cingo can be set up quickly with just a computer with a built in or external microphone or a headset and a web camera. Interviews can also be shared with external parties, enabling them to take part in the decision-making process. The platform also allows recruiters to build a digital database, enabling them to stay one step ahead when they next need to fill a position.
The platform offers a range of different features and capabilities such as practice interviews, interview script creation and video CV creation for jobseekers. Recorded practice interviews can also be forwarded to a number of people to review.
