Boydens Leadership Series features Robecos Leni Boeren

In the new issue of the Boyden Leadership Series, Ms. Boeren discusses changes in the financial services industry, combating cybersecurity threats, why diversity extends beyond gender, senior executives as role models, and the impact of younger generations in the workplace.

The interview also includes a sidebar discussion with Joost Goudsmit, Managing Partner of Boyden Netherlands, and his view on today’s corporate leaders.

“Leni’s leadership has positively impacted Robeco in light of the significant changes the global financial services industry has undergone in recent years,” said Mr. Goudsmit. “Her ability to be agile, while still focusing on Robeco’s mission for company growth and achieving their financial objectives, are accomplishments to be emulated by other leaders.”

At Robeco, Boeren is a member of the group management board and also has responsibility for select businesses in the United States and the Netherlands. During the past 20 years with the company, she has held various leadership positions in marketing, product development and sales, as well as information technology and general management.

With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Boeren has worked for two banks, a stock exchange and an asset manager. In addition to her role at Robeco, she serves on the boards of the Dutch Fund and Asset Management Association, Tata Steel Netherlands, NV Nuon Energy and Amsterdam Sinfonietta.
