Goodman Masson awarded UKs Best Workplace at Great Place to Work Awards 2015

The significance of the achievement highlights that Goodman Masson are well on track to achieving their aim & lsquo;To treat our people better than any other business in the UK’. A strategic aim for Goodman Masson since 2009 when CEO, Guy Hayward introduced their employee engagement programme, The Experience&reg.

The Experience&reg became a registered trademark last year and was formal recognition of the distinctiveness and uniqueness of their philosophy. The Experience&reg is made up four main pillars: Work, Grow, Reward and Connect.

The low staff attrition rate at Goodman Masson shows just how well The Experience&reg is received by employees with staff turnover remaining less than 18 per cent over the past three years.

Some examples of what the company offer include a mortgage fund, 3:30 finish on a Friday, annual subsidised ski trip, a chill out zone with table tennis, pool table and games consoles, an office masseuse and much much more.

Hayward says the company’s achievement with Best Workplaces has been down to, “Our unwavering and at times slightly unfashionable belief that the retention and engagement of our people is the company’s primary strategic objective, above all others. Goodman Masson has shown in the last six years that this approach works&helliplow staff turnover, significant increase in client base, annual revenues exceeding &pound35 million and profits greater than

&pound2m a four times increase since 2012.
