Search focuses on smashing 2014 fundraising target in Scotland
In 2014, proceeds went to Children 1st, the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH), Marie Curie and Edinburgh Women’s Aid, who will benefit again this year alongside the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) which is a new addition for 2015.
The recruitment specialist fundraises for a selection of Scottish charitable organisations annually, and Simone Lockhart, Search’s managing director for Scotland, is confident that staff can rise to the challenge of smashing the 2014 tally.
She said: “There are so many fantastic charities out there doing wonderful work to support individuals and families.
“As a successful business with offices across Scotland, it’s vital that we support charitable organisations which have an impact on communities. We raised so much more last year than we were aiming for and I’m sure we can exceed our target this time around.
“We’ve chosen to add CHAS to the charities we support as we agreed that it provides invaluable help to youngsters and their families, and we wanted even more people to benefit from our fundraising efforts.”
Staff across Search’s offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, Dunfermline and Inverness, will be taking part in a range of activities to raise funds throughout the year, as well as supporting people-related business and community activities through its Living and Giving Foundation.
