Stott and May takes a trip to Wonderland
Founded in 2009, Stott and May is a leading high-end recruitment business with a turnover of £30 million. Headquartered in London, with an office in Thames Valley, Stott and May has had a presence in the American staffing market since 2012.
The opening of the New York office, designed by Martine Le Gassick, founder of Maya Design, will cement its position as the leading international executive recruitment firm, whilst providing a base for the business’ further expansion across the U.S.
Stephen Stott, founder and CEO of Stott and May, comments: “This is an exciting time for the business as we continue to grow our presence across America and we very much look forward to welcoming both our new team and future clients to the New York office. You can’t run a successful business without a happy and motivated workforce behind you and that includes creating an attractive working environment in which they can thrive.”
Leading the U.S. office will be Director of Business Development, Andrew Gee. He adds: “It’s great to be working at a company that really values its staff, right down to the environment in which we work. We look forward to helping more businesses across America secure the right hires to help them grow.”
The centrepiece of the new office, which has capacity for 25 consultants, is a mural by talented New York graffiti artist, Stae2. The Wonderland-inspired piece illustrates the story that is at the heart of the office design and represents something of a full-circle move for the designer, who used to tag the building illegally as a youth.
The new office opening comes shortly after CEO Stephen Stott was shortlisted for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2015.
