Adecco raises its position amongst the Best Workplaces in Europe 2015
Trust and pride in making a difference in local communities as well as strong team spirit raised Adecco’s standing among the top 25 performing companies in Europe.
The group advanced by 6 places compared to 2014, when Adecco first entered the rankings. The listings are compiled by Great Place to Work®, an independent US research, consulting and training organisation.
Great Place to Work® surveyed employees from more than 2,300 companies in 19 European countries to compile this year’s list and determine Europe’s Best Workplaces.
10,000 Adecco employees in 12 countries participated, responding in conjunction with a cultural audit conducted by Great Place to Work® between September 2014 and March 2015. The results showed Adecco people feel proud to make a difference every day in their communities by helping people to find the best job and by selecting quality profiles for clients’ needs.
“Better Work, Better Life is not just a claim for Adecco, but what we stand for and what we care about for our employees, our candidates and our clients”, said Mark De Smedt, chief human resources officer Adecco Group. “Most of my colleagues stated in the survey that the company’s & lsquo;purpose’ is their first motivational driver. This is also shown through the exceptional level of engagement in initiatives such as Adecco Way to WorkTM, Win4Youth and the Athlete Career Programme, where Adecco people are proud to contribute their time and expertise to helping people beyond recruitment”.
The Great Place to Work® ranking also shows the results of the company’s focus on talent management and the wide range of development programmes available through the Adecco Academy for its employees.
In 2015, 10 Adecco subsidiaries in Europe qualified for the Great Place to Work® national ranking, including Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain and the UK. For the first time, Italy and Adecco’s Swiss headquarters entered their national rankings.
