AMN Healthcare names vice president of RPO
AMN Healthcare Services, Inc. has seen increasing demand for recruitment services at hospitals, health systems and other medical facilities as competition heats up for top quality healthcare professionals. AMN's RPO solution delivers technology-enabled services concentrated on recruiting the quality clinicians that managers need in this challenging talent market environment.
"With the rising demand and constrained supply of candidates, there's intense competition for talent in the healthcare sector," Findley said. "RPO provides expert recruiters who are entirely focused on only one job: helping clients quickly find, engage and hire the quality healthcare professionals they need. RPO puts the right person in the right job at the right time."
RPO has been used extensively in other industries for years, but is just now "crossing the chasm" into healthcare, he said. AMN RPO provides healthcare leaders with improved candidate flow and quality, leveraging better people, processes, technology and measurement that come with recruitment scale and RPO know-how. Cost containment is achieved through reducing fixed overhead by utilizing outsourced recruiters only when they are needed. RPO costs are often less than half the cost for direct hire placements.
"Darren Findleyis a talented innovator who will engage the healthcare industry with advanced management practices like RPO," said Dan White, president of workforce solutions at AMN Healthcare. "Under Darren's leadership, RPO at AMN Healthcare will continue its rapid growth, and improve our client outcomes including reduced cost per hire, decreased vacancy rates and time-to-fill, and improved hiring manager satisfaction."
Findley has 32 years of recruitment experience, including more than 15 years in RPO. Prior to AMN, he was vice president and managing director of Recruitment Solutions (RPO) at Kenexa, an IBM company, where he managed recruitment outsourcing programs for a wide range of clients, including UnitedHealth Group, Express Scripts, Allstate Insurance and University of Phoenix.
