Apex Recruitment recognised for strong customer focus during quality audit

Having expanded the business by 20% in the past year, the Warwick based agency has continued to uphold standards set out by ISO9001:2008 to ensure that each and every one of its clients and candidates are provided with a service to rival no other.

Commenting on the news, HR director Caroline Johnson, explains, “We’re delighted to have passed this year’s audit with flying colours, and with changes to the standard expected to come into force this year, are already making plans to ensure our quality management systems remain ahead of the game into 2016.”

The international standard that provides a best practice framework for quality management used by over 1m organisations in over 170 countries. The founding principles of this standard include a strong customer focus, high involvement from top management, and a basis for continuous improvement. The business has been the recipient of a quality management standard each year for over 20 years, when the previous iteration of the standard BS5750 was in place.

Sales & marketing director, Richard Marchington, added, “It’s been a ground breaking 18 months for Apex, following the move to our new state of the art office in Warwick in early 2014, and the launch of our new branding across all three specialist sectors later in the year.”

The efficiencies that the Bullhorn software has introduced has allowed us to pass on the benefits to our candidates and clients, improving our reporting capabilities and providing us with insights to target the right candidates at the right time. The introduction of the new database was commended by Audit Manager Steve Blackwell, from Alcumus ISOQAR, who also praised the feedback mechanisms in place to aid continuous improvement for both clients and candidates.
