Brightwork Group appoints new business development director
It has named Shan Saba in a role which will see him seek to maximise opportunities for existing clients, attract new clients and expand the group's geographic and sector presence.
The group-wide responsibility follows Saba's successful tenure as a director in Brightwork Specialist Recruitment, the professional, technical and managerial division which has contributed handsomely to Brightwork's current turnover of £32.65 million.
His appointment also coincides with plans for a significant investment in the Glasgow and Edinburgh-based business with a major re-branding and new database capabilities coming on stream in Q4 of this year.
Saba said, "This is an extremely exciting time to be taking on this new responsibility. The group is experiencing rapid but sustainable growth and we are alert to the possibility of new opportunities in the immediate future.
Glasgow-born Saba graduated from Strathclyde University with honours in HR management and had a successful career with major companies such as Hays, Melville Craig and Hudson before joining Brightwork in 2008.
