Cloud specialist drives benefits of HR integration at CIPD show

The cloud software solutions and managed services specialist will be exhibiting at stand H350 at the Olympia Exhibition Centre on both days and aims to demonstrate the significant benefits of its icsbusinessbox software application. 

The company’s commercial director, Simon Boyle, will present to attendees on Thursday 18 from 1.30-2pm, focusing on the methodology behind its e-learning advancements.

Boyle looks after commercial operations and is a Fellow of the Saltire Foundation, one of the leading business programmes in the UK today. 

His showcase will focus on & lsquo;Leveraging the power of e-learning for fair succession planning’, exploring equality in succession planning, fair assessment through anonymised results, and personal development and Integrated Cloud Solutions aims to demonstrate how its software technology enhances organisational performance with particular HR benefits.

The company provides tools and services for smart decision making, while saving on costs and ensuring the highest level of data security.

Integrated Cloud Solutions is currently developing icsbusinessbox to include e-learning enhancements which are set to allow the easy set-up of automated internal exam processes, integration with personal development planning for bespoke qualifications and career progression, in addition to the simplification of recruitment processes and group-wide surveys.

These functions will also integrate with existing modules in icsbusinessbox, including the HR, Time and Self Service package, soon to be joined by innovative new Campus and Recruitment modules. 

Boyle believes that a fundamental tool in icsbusinessbox is anonymising online assessment of the workforce which serves to highlight those with the most potential and the best way to develop them, while minimising prejudice in the organisation.

He said: “Within organisations, we are often quick to choose who we think would be best suited to fill another position. This may be based on that individual’s experience, the department they work in, or their claimed skillset. 

“However, without assessing the workforce through a series of questions and anonymising the results, can we truly see who the best suited candidate is? You are likely to be surprised that the person you thought would be best suited is outperformed by another member of the team.

“I believe this will be of significant interest to show attendees and hope they can join me (on the 18th) to hear more about it.”
