Evolution Recruitment Solutions reaches new heights for local charity!
On 3rd July, the majority of their office (62 in all - including 2 of the company’s founding directors) will hike to the summit of Snowdon! In the process they hope to raise £5,000 in donations for their chosen charity, the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust. Evolution will then contribute a further £2 for every £1 raised until the total reaches £15,000!
They will start their day bright and early at their Birchwood office before commencing their journey by coach to their starting point at Pen-Y-Pass, ready to start their 723m ascent on the famous Pyg Track, a total climb of 3.5 miles. After a quick photo they’ll begin their descent and will then be rewarded by a well-earned meal and drink at a local hostelry provided by Evolution.
Kevin Riley, business development manager, has helped to organise the challenge and comments, “Despite the fitness reservations of the 62 local, desk-bound employees, the day is set to be a challenging but rewarding experience. Especially for those who have never even seen Snowdon before, let alone climbed it. We are absolutely delighted to be able to do this for the Adventure Farm who are a fantastic charity, and we will be keeping the very special children they support in our minds during the tough slog up the mountain!”
CAFT fundraiser, Helen Crowther, will be joining the trekkers. She comments, “It’s amazing that Evolution have put together this challenge which involves so many of their staff, we’re very impressed with their determination to raise so much money for our charity. We really can’t thank each and every one of them enough for what they’re about to do, and hope readers will support them by donating to their Just Giving page.”
