The new division works with corporate, retail and investment banking partners to source talent across front office sales and relationship management, and the entire back office function. Launched in the Middle East with a focus on the GCC countries, the service is being rolled out to the Northern and Southern African markets.
This launch sees the firm expanding on the success of its banking and financial services offering in Europe and Asia. From this established base Eximius are able to leverage their network of clients and candidates into the Middle East and North Africa.
Eximius has appointed Matt Nolan, associate director of banking and financial Services to build the new division. Nolan has ten year’s experience within front office retail/private banking and back office corporate banking. Following his time in the banks, Nolan moved into recruiting for the banking sector. Matt has in-depth knowledge and experience of banking across Europe, Africa and the GCC, with eight years across Qatar and the UAE.
Nolan commented, “In a highly competitive market, relationship building is key to success - leveraging our established client and candidate relationships across the European and Asian markets, Eximius is working closely with local and international banks to build our reputation for excellence across MENA.”
Jamie Wilkinson, director of Eximius MENA, commented, “We’re delighted to welcome Matt into the Eximius family. His reputation in the Middle East as a financial services recruiter is second to none, and to have him launch Eximius into the Middle East financial services market gives us a fantastic springboard as we round out our Middle Eastern business to include not only financial services but also our other specialist markets of energy and legal. We wish Matt every success in his new role!”
