Accountancy and payroll service provider PayStream has become members of PRISM and FCSA

&middot         PRISM is a not for profit trade association whose purpose is to provide a platform to highlight and promote the important role the sector plays in supporting the flexible workers market.

&middot         FCSA are the trade association for professional employment services (umbrella, accountancy and payroll). 

&middot         Julian Ball, PayStream’s Legal Director says: “We are delighted to have become accredited members of PRISM and associate members of FCSA. These trade associations are important within our industry as they work towards providing MP’s and the Government with a clearer understanding of the benefits that our sector has to offer and will continue to bring to the economy. Furthermore we feel that a focus on compliance is essential and we fully back any future plans to ensure non-compliant providers are stamped out.”

PayStream, a leading provider of payroll and accountancy services to contractors and recruitment agencies, are proud to announce their new accredited membership with PRISM and associate membership with the FCSA.

The FCSA work to maintain and support the industry sector and the flexible workforce. As an associate member, PayStream adhere to FCSA’s charter which check and indorse that they operate legally and are run by fit and proper persons.

Becoming a member of the FCSA not only highlights PayStream’s high standards of compliance, professional knowledge and best practice but it also shows their commitment to helping MPs and Government understand the benefit that the contractor industry has brought and will continue to bring to the economy.

In addition, PayStream are not only accredited members of PRISM, but their Legal Director Julian Ball is also a member of their executive committee. This means that Julian works closely with PRISM’s Chief Executive, Crawford Temple, to provide professional support and advice on PRISM’s goals and to determine the representations it will make over the course of the year, ensuring that these are in the best interest of service providers and contractors.

PRISM provide a link between the Government and the industry and this allows its members, including PayStream, to have their voice heard by working closely with Ministers and the Civil Service to create the right conditions for informed decisions which will affect the sector.

Crawford Temple, PRISM’s Chief Executive has stated “It is great news that Julian has taken a position on the executive committee of PRISM. He is passionate about the sector and is widely recognised as having a great deal of knowledge and experience. His presence on the team will be a real asset to PRISM”
