Drivers Direct raises more than 3,000 for Macmillan
All Drivers Direct employees were asked to make a donation to the charity in exchange for attending the company’s all inclusive annual black tie event at the Victory Club, Marble Arch in London. After the event the grand total raised was doubled by Drivers Direct, resulting in a staggering £3000 raised for Macmillan.
During the evening employees were recognised for their excellent customer service, commitment to the company as well as achievements within the business and were awarded with trophies and trips to either New York, Paris or London.
Gethin Roberts, owner and managing director at Drivers Direct, comments, “Every year our employees and board of directors select a charity to raise money for at the black tie event. This year’s event was a great success and thanks to the generosity of employees, we were able to raise a substantial amount for Macmillan.”
