OneSource Virtual expands into Derry-Londonderry creating 289 new jobs

OneSource Virtual is a cloud-based Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider and was ranked in the Forbes 2015 List of America’s Most Promising Companies.

The company will service both its existing US customers and its growing European customer base from its Derry-Londonderry office, due to open in September.

Brian Williams, OneSource Virtual cofounder and CEO, said, “Our team evaluated a number of locations in Europe and selected Northern Ireland, specifically Derry-Londonderry, based on the skilled workforce, high standards of higher education and the quality of life for employees.”

“Working with our recruitment partners, Grafton, we are now recruiting technical innovators to join our team. OneSource Virtual has experienced tremendous success over the past number of years and this expansion heralds a new phase of growth for us in Europe.”

The majority of new jobs created will be skilled roles with salaries in the range of &pound30,000-&pound40,000. The roles will be primarily for IT technical innovators with a number of positions also available in application management and payroll services.

OneSource Virtual’s investment in its new hub in Derry-Londonderry will be supported with &pound2.9m from Invest Northern Ireland. “We would like to thank Invest Northern Ireland for their guidance and support throughout the planning and execution of this expansion programme,” said Brian Williams from OneSource Virtual. “Their advice, engagement and financial support helped to create a strong business case for choosing Derry-Londonderry as our European base,” he concluded. 

OneSource Virtual is headquartered in Dallas, Texas and has recently opened an office in Phoenix, Arizona. The expansion into Northern Ireland is the company’s first move outside of the United States.
