Rising business confidence sees North West HR jobs market grow 8%
The Capital showed steady growth when compared with the first quarter of 2015, with the jobs market having grown 4% in Q2.
Chris Poole managing director, Robert Walters Manchester, comments, “The spike in demand for HR professionals in the North West is very encouraging, and reflects the broader growth we’ve seen among businesses since the start of this year.
“As the economic recovery from the recession looks increasingly assured, international and domestic employers are looking to expand their presence in the UK. The North West offers an attractive prospect with a highly educated and motivated workforce, and drastically reduced overheads compared to London.”
Sally Martin, associate director, London, comments on the growth of the HR jobs in the Capital in particular, “Economic stability and business confidence in London and the South East has created additional demand for HR professionals.
“Human capital management today has a prime seat at the top leadership table and has significant influence in setting and accomplishing strategic business goals. In particular, organisations’ drive to attract and retain the best talent has created demand in graduate and lateral recruitment specialists, learning and development and compensation, regulatory and benefits specialists.”
