Eximius Energy launches smart practice
The Practice is initially focusing on the smart grid aspect of the sector, sourcing technical and commercial talent across the UK, Europe and the US.
Eximius Energy enters the smart market as the sector benefits from large scale investment and is on the cusp of reaching new heights, bringing fierce competition for experienced talent. The Eximius Smart team is working closely with clients and candidates to ensure the skills and experience are in place to support their successful growth and development.
The team sources talent for a diverse range of smart grid related projects encompassing metering, communications, sensing and control, across both the residential and commercial sectors. Partnering with a wide range of organisations from utilities to software developers and hardware installers.
Eximius Energy has appointed Dan Hammond-Smith, team leader, to head up the Smart Practice. Hammond-Smith has seven years’ experience in the recruitment industry. He has built highly successful teams across large financial institutions whilst managing and mentoring consultants across a multitude of market verticals.
Hammond-Smith commented, “I am delighted to join Eximius in a very exciting market. The company’s reputation and success within the energy world speaks for itself. It’s my goal to add a new spoke to the wheel and be the driving force behind Eximius Smart.”
Energy director, Les Hewlett, commented, “We are delighted to welcome Dan to lead Eximius Smart. The development of the smart sector for a cleaner, cheaper, energy efficient world is the future of the industry. Our aim is to lead in the supply of talent to this fast growing, highly specialised sector.”
