Alexander Daniels backs Porsche racing driver David Walley
Last year the firm, which has offices in Birmingham and Bristol, sponsored Walley's Porsche GT3 in his maiden season as a driver in the 997 GT3 Cup.
Now it is supporting him as he steps up into the GTC group in a Porsche 991 GT3 Cup car at Donington Park this weekend.
“I am very excited to be returning to the GT Cup,” says Walley, who is non-executive chairman of Warwick-based events services company Freeman and will be supported by the Stratford-upon-Avon-based In2Racing team.
“Last season was an amazing time and securing the GTB Championship at the last race was certainly a highlight of my racing career to date. Fittingly, Donington was the venue for my first race in the GT Cup in April last year and it is a favourite of mine.
“Moving up to the GTC class in the Porsche 991 will be a challenge but the team at In2Racing has a great pedigree and huge experience with the car now, so I am hoping to be on the pace from the start.”
“David has been a highly valued client for several years and we are delighted to continue our sponsorship of his racing career,” says Ian Mourbey, director at Alexander Daniels, which specialises in recruitment in the finance, accountancy, corporate governance, engineering, education and healthcare sectors.
“As a business we are continuing on a path of rapid growth and diversification, so having our brand displayed prominently on David’s car once again will be an excellent means of boosting our profile.”
