de Poel health+care appointed to major framework
The framework agreement enables NHS Trusts to directly contract with de Poel healthcare across many staff groups for the provision of their services, as follows:
• Doctors, Consultants, Dentists and General Practitioners (GPs)
• Allied Health Professionals (AHP), Health Science Services (HSS) and Emergency Services (ES) personnel
• Nursing and Midwifery personnel
• Personal Social Services personnel
The dedicated healthcare division of de Poel Managed Services Ltd, de Poel healthcare, manages the relationships between clients in the public and private sectors – including NHS Trusts, Local Government and blue-chip private healthcare organisations – and a select panel of recruitment agencies.
de Poel healthcare’s web-based technology enables organisations to control and forecast spend when managing non-permanent staffing requirements – delivering transparency, visibility and compliance through greater management information.
Andrew Preston, managing director of de Poel healthcare, said: “The CCS Multidisciplinary Framework Award demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible service, for the best possible value. The framework agreement will allow us to further provide workforce management solutions to the public sector andenable NHS Trusts to manage their spend effectively and intelligently, through Management Information.”
Preston added, “Creating greater efficiencies and improved service delivery across the NHS continues to dominate the news and political agendas. It is little wonder, as controlling the procurement of temporary staff can be a near impossible task, and one that some organisations frequently have limited control over. The award of this contract will allow us to work hand-in-hand with all public healthcare bodies to implement a clear, effective and cost-effective system that will produce the kind of savings that the NHS is desperately seeking.”
