eResponse to offer candidates help with new service
The recruitment and training provider is offering a variety of job-hunting services through its eResponse Office team to help candidates looking for a new role or even a complete change of career.
Expert trainers will deliver workshops or one to ones to help candidates with interview preparation, skills and techniques, advice to improve CVs and free training courses.
There will also be one to one sessions to build confidence.
The new service is open to anyone, whether they are in employment and looking for a new role or career path or someone who is currently unemployed.
The unveiling of the new service comes as figures from the Institute of Leadership and Management showed that 37 per cent of people wanted to change job this year – almost double the number in 2014.
It means there is more competition for jobs, meaning workers have to be able to show they are the best choice for the position from the very first application.
Tina White, Commercial General Manager for eResponse, said: “One of the biggest stumbling blocks for people looking to change direction is showing potential new employers how their skills can be valuable in a different job to the one they want to leave.
“The fact that there are significantly more people looking to change jobs is a sign that the economy has improved and workers are confident to want to spread their wings and try new things. That’s a good thing, but it also means more people will struggle to prove to a potential employer that they have the right skills and experience for a completely new job to the one they are leaving behind.
“We’re delighted to be able to offer people these skills to help them build their confidence and consider their potential when searching for a new career. We have had a lot of success helping people into work and this new service is another essential way of doing that.
“We believe we can bridge the gap and make the difference between getting the job or not.”
